What to Bring & What NOT to Bring

Come prepared for the Micro Expo My City experience.
Micro Expo My City is designed to be simple, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone—vendors, attendees, and families alike. Keeping setups clean and consistent helps maintain good flow, visibility, and a positive experience across the event.

✅ What to Bring

Bring items that make it easy for attendees to remember you and follow up:

  • Business cards
  • Flyers or brochures
  • Swag bag inserts (small, lightweight items only)
  • Stickers, wristbands, or branded giveaways
  • Pens, pencils, or small notepads
  • QR codes for booking, email lists, or socials

Tip: One strong offer beats ten flyers. Keep it clear and simple.

Your setup should be clean, compact, and easy to manage:

  • Small tabletop display stands
  • Product samples (where permitted)
  • Tabletop signage or mini banners
  • Stress balls or small branded items
  • Tablets or laptops for demos, sign-ups, or scheduling (laptops are OK)
  • A simple tablecloth to keep things polished

- Vendors who arrive with restricted items may be asked to remove them
- Event staff may request adjustments to maintain safety and flow
- If you’re unsure whether an item is allowed, ask ahead of time—we’re happy to help

Micro Expo My City is about connection, conversation, and community, not overbuilt booths. Come prepared, keep it simple, and let your business speak for itself.

  • Phone chargers or power banks (for personal use only)
  • Comfortable shoes—you’ll be standing and chatting
  • Water bottle (sealed, personal use)

❌ What NOT to Bring

To keep the event safe, family-friendly, and visually balanced, do not bring:

  • Extra tables, furniture, or shelving
  • Large banners, flags, or floor-standing signage
  • Independent power stations or generators
  • Amplified sound, microphones, or music
  • Anything that creates excessive noise, clutter, or distraction

.

Micro Expo is intentionally designed for easy production setups.

  • Your entire setup should be able as easy to handle and setup as possible – think easy setup and break down
  • If it doesn’t comfortably fit on or behind your assigned table, it’s likely too large
  • Vendors must stay within their designated footprint at all times

If you think you need more space, consider upgrading your tier before the event.
